Amongst the many pieces of art and other memorabilia the Museum owns are two bronze statuettes that capture two key cricket skills, batting and bowling.
Bronze sculpture of Joel Garner
Joel Garner signed for Somerset for the start of the 1977 season. He took 338 First Class wickets at an average of 18.10 during his time at Somerset and was considered the best fast bowler to play for the county.
A bronze figure of a batter entitled The Spirit of Cricket
In 2012, a major bequest was received from the late Miss Patricia Watts, which enabled the Museum to undergo a major refit and the Museum commissioned this statuette to mark the legacy left by Patricia and her late brother, David Watts
